Valor Home Featured

97.5 WONE is proud to give back to those who have served our country. You may have heard us mention Valor Home and wondered, "What is Valor Home?

The Harry Donovan Jr. Valor Home of Summit County is a transitional housing program for homeless veterans. They help residents through structured and engaging therapies such as art, music and life skills. Each resident is assigned a support worker to offer advocacy and encouragement. Valor Home provides support services to residents both on-site and in the community. The program mission of Valor Home is, "To support homeless veterans in our community in their efforts to achieve greater self-sufficiency, including the ability to secure and maintain permanent housing." Each year, 100,000 people are served through their programs. Read more about Valor Home here

How are we helping?

Funds raised at WONE's booths at both Rock The Lock, and Blossom are donated to Valor Home.

We've also just introduced the WONE Charity Classic at Stonehedge Family Entertainment. Every Sunday you have a chance to bowl for cash prizes in the Tournament Of Champions. A portion of the $25 bowling fee goes to support Valor Home. Find more details about the WONE Charity Classic here

In addition, 97.5 WONE will be broadcasting live from the lobby of our studios at 1795 West Market Street on December 13th and 14th with Operation Heroes. Stay tuned for details!
