Two of the industries hardest hit by the pandemic are certainly entertainment and dining.

Master Pizza owner Michael LaMarca has rallied his fellow pizza shops in Northeast Ohio to create the 'Pizza for a Purpose' fundraiser. The goal is to raise funds for restaurant workers throughout the state of Ohio.

Between Monday, January 25, and Sunday, January 31, $1 from every pepperoni pizza purchased at participating pizza shops will be donated to the Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (ORERF).  ORERF has raised more than $450,000 for restaurant workers affected by the pandemic, who can apply for assistance through the fund.

Here is a list of the participating pizza places. Make sure you grab a pepperoni pie from one of them next week and help the cause.
