The title says it all: Men Making a Difference. There's this great program in Alliance where a group of men read to school-aged children. Men from all walks of life. It was the brain-child of three women in the school system. Their goal? To educate students about different careers; to see positive men in the community; to build relations within the community; and of course-- reading! Not only does it mix things up for the students, but it gives these gentlemen an even greater purpose. We all want to feel like we're contributing and making a difference, and this is one way that's getting done.
