    The 52-year-old Akron man linked to the so-called Craigslist killings talked to a judge Wednesday, addressing problems related to prescription drug medications and receiving personal mail.

" class="slickTip" target="_blank" >Woman Ejected Through Sunroof After Bath Twp. Crash

An 18-year-old woman was thrown through her car's sunroof following a serious crash in Bath Township early Thursday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports the woman slammed into a tree off Bath Hills Boulevard, sending her straight through the sunroof before the car flipped over, landing on its top.

State troopers said she was taken to an Akron hospital with serious injuries.

Troopers are investigating the cause of the accident.

    Family members say Kayla will be cremated.

    She died on Tuesday surrounded by various family members at her aunt and uncle's home. Her death is a result of a shooting that took place inside a Cleveland-area restaurant in  mid-April. She had been in hospice care since May 11.

  • Man Guilty Of Robbery With Stolen Credit Card

    An Akron man has been found guilty of charges that include trying to cover up his robbery by asking a store to replace the items he stole from them.

    26-year old Rayonte Jones  went on a shopping spree with a stolen credit card in January after taking part in a robbery of a man at gunpoint.

    Jones and his partner used the card at various stores, but got in  trouble by attempting to return the items they stole for refunds the very next day.

    Stores such as Target keep track of all items that have been purchased electronically, and when Jones attempted to return the stolen goods, he was arrested on site.
