Sandra Miller's Daily Buzz - An Interview with Tom Gimbel of Foreigner

Foreigner hits Blossom Music Center with Kid Rock tomorrow night with the First Kiss, Cheap Date tour. I had an opportunity to catch up with Tom Gimbel of Foreigner to talk about the tour, and his very interesting career and hobbies. Tom has been a long time member of Foreigner, but before that he was a a member of Aerosmith. He played backing instruments, including flute and sax for Aerosmith on tour, during theie MTV Unplugged show (he was the dude playing the flute on Dream On) and even took part in Waynes World - YES he was part of the Tom Hanks/ Waynes World skit! When Foreigner took a short break, he decided to take up golfing, and has since become a certified golf instructor. He's got some great Aerosmith, celebrity golf, and Foreigner stories. And as a mom to a boy that plays flute, he gave me plenty of great rock songs featuring flute to share with my son. Hear our entire conversation here:
