STP Fires Weiland & The Stones coming to The Rock Hall

A Spokesperson for Stone Temple Pilots says singer Scott Weiland has been "terminated" from the band. The announcement comes on the heels of Weiland announcing his intentions to perform the band's first two albums, Core & Purple on his solo tour. It is something the band had talked about doing, but never actually got around to doing... who would have thought Scott would be the mover & the shaker in the group?? If you want to catch Scott's solo performance of the albums - he will hit Cleveland's House of Blues on march 20th.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is launching a new exhibit Memorial Day weekend. 50 Years of Satisfaction will honor the Rolling Stones beginning May 24th. It will take up two and a half floors at the hall with artifacts, memorabilia and more - some which has never been seen by the public.
