& Paul is the new Kurt??

Kenny Wayne Shepherd says he has just finished up a new album with Stephen Stills and Barry Goldberg (keyboardist & songwriter who has worked with Stills, Levon Helm and Electric Flag). The album doesn't have a name yet, but they hope to have it out in the spring.

Tonight is the 12-12-12 Sandy benefit concert, and a little magic happened in preparation for the big show. Paul McCartney asked Dave Grohl if he wanted to get together and "make something up." What do you say other than 'YES' to Paul McCartney when he asks that question?? Dave asked if his friends Krist Novoselic and Nirvana touring guitarist Pat Smear  could join in and it was a go. McCartney says, "I didn't really know who they were. They are saying how good it is to be back together. I said 'Whoa? you guys haven't played together for all that time?' And somebody whispered to me, 'That's Nirvana. You're Kurt.' I couldn't believe it."
