Soundgarden tour & Rick's guitar...oops

Soundgarden has announced the tour to support their first studio album in 16 years, Animal Kingdom, which finally hits stores this week. They will kick things off in January, but the closest they come to us is on January 27th in Detroit at The Fillmore. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen's 5-neck guitar is now a 4-neck guitar. It was knocked off its stand Thursday nightbwhile a local crew was clearing the stage for Aerosmith. Ironically, he had just gotten it back after needing repaired when the stage colapsed on the band at the Ottawa Blues Fest. Hey, look at the silver lining- they're using local crews in each city!
