Neil Young release dates revealed for Pill

While drummer Bun E. Carlos hasn't toured with Cheap Trick in two years, he is still a full-fledged member of the band, and was recently quite shocked to find out they recorded a new song with out him. The song - with Rick Nielson's son Daxx on the drums - will appear on A Very Special Christmas - 25 Years for the Special Olympics. Carlos saysd it's a great cause, but feels it can hardle be called a Cheap Trick song if it was recorded without him.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse finally have a release date for Psychedelic Pill. The 8-song, 2-CD set will hit stores October 30th. 8 songs on 2 CDs?  Yes, well one song, "Driftin' Back" clocks in at 27 minutes 36 seconds, and two others are over 16 minutes long, so yes, 2 discs. A triple vinyl version will be released November 23rd.
