Ceremony will honor the 343 firefighters and 60 police/port authority officers who lost their lives in the World Trade Center. Additionally we will honor our nations Fallen Heroes from Operation Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom. All bikes are invited and there is no rain date. he event kicks-off with a leisurely parade-style motorcycle ride thats a favorite of local motorcycle enthusiasts followed by an afternoon of fun, food and music at Akrons Lock 3 Park. Proceeds from the Ride for the Red event will benefit local Red Cross services. Ride for the Red will begin at Liberty Harley-Davidson in Boston Heights. Ride registration gets underway at 11:00 a.m. followed by the grand parade ride through the picturesque back roads of the Cuyahoga Valley at 1:00. Riders can also participate in one of the early morning rides which begin at several conveniently-located satellite start sites throughout Summit, Portage and Medina Counties. Starting from a satellite location, riders will travel as a group to Liberty Harley-Davidson, where theyll arrive in time to join the grand parade ride. All event proceeds benefit Goodwill Industries of Wayne and Holmes Counties, Inc. with their mission of helping people with disabilities to employment make the transition to independence through education, training, and employment services. 2nd Annual Bike Run & Pig Roast to benefit the Bogolin Family. On Oct 5th 2009 we lost one of the most caring men in the world,wonderful husband and father Willie Bogolin. The proceeds will go directly to the Bogolin Family. Everyone is expected to arrive between 12-1pm. Cost is $20 PER RIDER. The run will end at 7025 State Route 88 in Ravenna this is where the pig roast will be. Anyone who would like to come the pig roast event and not ride will be charged $10 for admission.
